Dance Tots

Our Dance Tots Class is designed to help little ones explore the beginnings of Ballet and Modern dance in a fun and engaging independent 45minutes led by our early years dance specialist tutors and assistants.

The class draws on Pre Primary ISTD syllabus in Modern and Ballet, introducing these exercises’ concepts and techniques in a basic and fun way. Children also learn little routines and are encouraged to try their best and to attend every session using our bespoke reward system.

Children perform in the annual Dance Show which is staged in a professional theatre during Spring/Summer Term. This is their first experience of interacting with the older dance students and seeing the progression ahead of them through the School.

At a point when they are ready during their Year 1 school year, Tots move through to Primary Examination Classes and also pick up Tap Dance ready to start taking their ISTD exams.
